ABout Kiteschool Loopy
Kiteschool Loopy is born out of love for teaching. Love for teaching together and guiding our students. We both teach kitesurfing for over 10 years and together we’ve been to beautiful places around the world to teach over 1000 people and to gain experience. We saw different teaching methods en teached all kinds of nationalities and ages. We always discussed our lessons with each other to get to the perfect teaching method so every student learns how to kite in a save en progressive way.
Safety and quality are our priorities. We only give private and duo lessons, so you make a fast progression and before you know it you are riding on your own. This makes us unique compared to other schools that focus more on large groups. Also we won't let you alone with the kite until you have a confident feeling with the kite and learned all the safety instructions.
At Kiteschool Loopy there is always a positive instructor next to you to give you the right instructions. Because of our experience we see and feel directly what you need to become an independent kitesurfer. We hope to make a lot of people happy with our kitelessons this season.
See you soon on the water!
Love, Gerwin & Lianne and our faithfull mascotte Loopy
In 2010 I started kitesurfing and this was the best decision I ever made. Because of that first kitesurf lesson I was able to make my work out of it. In 2011 I started assisting lessons and in 2012 I got my teaching license of the IKO.
There is nothing better then seeing your students enjoy this beautiful sport as much as I do. And not kitesurfing alone but everything that comes with it. Being outside and all the happy faces on the beach. I met wonderful people during my time teaching in the Netherlands, Mexico and on Union Island together with Gerwin, and I hope to meet much much more at Kiteschool Loopy.
At a young age I was already involved with extreme sports like BMX and inline skating. My first experience with kitesurfing was in 2009 and soon after that I started teaching. In 2010 I got my teaching licence of the IKO.
Because of kitesurfing I have seen beautiful places on earth, went on adventures and became friends with wonderful people. I hope to give the same experience to everyone I will teach this year. A new world opens for you when you learn how to kite.
